Who we are
This website is operated by LeonEast Roofing & Building Limited, a limited company registered in England and Wales, trading from Bromley, Greater London. For the purposes of UK data protection law we are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
You can contact us about anything in this policy by telephone on 07746 517099 .
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry through this website, or contact us by phone, we collect the information you choose to give us. Typically that is your name, telephone number, email address, the property address the work relates to, and a description of the roofing problem. We do not ask for and do not want any special category data, and we do not collect payment details through this website.
Our web forms are handled by Web3Forms, which passes the contents of the form to us by email. Our hosting provider records standard server information such as IP addresses and request logs for security and reliability purposes. We do not run advertising trackers, analytics cookies or third-party pixels on this site.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange a survey. Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us.
- To prepare and issue a quotation, and to carry out work you accept. Legal basis: performance of a contract with you.
- To keep records of work carried out, including survey and completion photographs, so that we can honour the workmanship guarantee. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in being able to evidence what we did and when.
- To meet our legal and insurance obligations. Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation, and our legitimate interests in defending claims.
We will not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where it is necessary to do the job or to run the company. That may include our form provider and email provider, our website host, our accountant, our insurers, and - where you are making a claim - your own insurer or their loss adjuster. Where a job requires materials to be delivered to your address, the supplier will be given the delivery address. Each of these acts either as our processor under contract or as a controller in its own right.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within twelve months. Records relating to work we have carried out, including photographs and guarantee documentation, are kept for the length of the workmanship guarantee plus a further six years, which reflects the period in which a claim could be brought. Financial records are kept for six years as required for tax purposes.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask us to delete information where we no longer need it, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to ask for your information in a portable format. Where we rely on legitimate interests you can object, and we will stop unless we have compelling grounds to continue.
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month. There is no charge.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so that we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

This website does not set analytics, advertising or profiling cookies. Pages that embed a Google map load content from Google, which may set cookies of its own under Google's privacy policy; where a map is embedded it is clearly visible on the page.
