About us
LeonEast Roofing & Building Limited is a roofing and building firm working out of Bromley, covering the towns around it. Roofs are what we do all day - repairs, re-roofs, flat roofs, chimneys and guttering - on the houses this part of south east London is actually made of.
How we price
We come and look first, every time. Nobody can diagnose a roof from a driveway, and a quote produced without going up is a guess with a number attached. There is no charge for the visit and nothing to sign afterwards.
You get photographs of whatever we find before you get a figure. The quote is itemised, with the materials, the labour and the access on separate lines, and the total on it is the total on the invoice. If something genuinely hidden turns up once a roof is opened up - rot in the rafter feet, a chimney worse than it looked - it gets described, priced and agreed with you before anybody carries on.
The guarantee
Every van in south London says "all work guaranteed" and it costs nothing to paint on. Ours is a dated, signed document specific to your job, handed over when we finish along with the photographs. 10 years on our workmanship: if water finds its way back through something we repaired, we come back and put it right at no cost.
Materials carry their manufacturers' own cover on top, which varies from product to product, so your paperwork names the one that applies to your roof rather than quoting an average at you.
A guarantee lasting a decade only works if the repairs do not come back, which is why failed material comes off rather than being sealed over, junctions get lead rather than a fillet of cement, and anything we cannot deal with on the day gets photographed and said out loud.
Insurance and paperwork
We carry public liability insurance and are happy to show you the certificate - it takes ten seconds and almost nobody asks. LeonEast Roofing & Building Limited is a limited company registered in England and Wales. Where a job is going through a buildings insurance claim we will photograph the damage before anything is touched and describe it in writing for the loss adjuster, which is usually what decides whether a claim is paid.

The office is at 23 Kingfisher House, Elmfield Road, Bromley BR1 1LT. It is for post and paperwork - surveys happen at your house, not ours. Open 7.30am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday.
